my ability to apply strategic frameworks and understand business growth, and currently, in the Founder's Office at Company A (a health-tech startup), I work on strategy, analysing customer behaviour, optimising funnels, and improving conversion to paid subscriptions. These experiences let me explore both the analytical and the strategic, but I now see the need to integrate them. While I can draw basic insights from data and understand strategy, I lack formal expertise in advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and data-driven decision frameworks that connect the two. The ESSEC & CentraleSupélec DSBA programme is the perfect next step: its integration of business insight from ESSEC and technical depth from CentraleSupélec will strengthen my foundation in statistical modelling, machine learning, and cloud-based analytics. Courses such as Decision Analysis, Data Monetization, and Advanced Applications of AI in Business excite me as they align with my consulting aspirations, and learning from professors who are both academics and entrepreneurs will provide the practical and intellectual exposure I need for my long-term goal of starting my own venture. Interactions with alumni highlighted the programme's collaborative community and proactive career centre, and being part of ESSEC's global network, the DSBA Association, and ESSEC Ventures offers a platform to turn ideas into ventures. The compulsory four-month internship will let me implement classroom learning in a professional context. This combination of analytical rigour, entrepreneurial opportunity, and global exposure will help me grow as a data-driven strategist creating impact at the intersection of business and technology.
