internships in consulting and marketing, I established a pro-bono consulting group for startups incubated in my college's VC incubator, and launched a D2C venture that reached over 2,000 customers at a 20% conversion rate and 20% margin. At my family's home-textiles business, I hit a steep learning curve, introducing 25 new SKUs, helping establish a new plant, and growing international sales by 20%. These experiences gave me exposure but also exposed a gap: I can execute with my current capabilities, but to reach my goals I need structured management frameworks, global exposure, and networks to turn ambition into impact. That is why an MBA now feels right. My immediate goal is to reshape our family business into a two-tier organisation where accountability replaces micromanagement, freeing me to explore new industries while relaunching the D2C home-décor brand I co-founded with sharper marketing and a modern grasp of global supply chains. In parallel, I want to scale our education-and-welfare trust into a platform that shows how business growth and social change can strengthen each other. Conversations with HEC alumni convinced me this is the community I need: collaboration that continues long after graduation. Academically, I'm drawn to the New Horizons Capstone, Operations Management, and Strategy for Positive Impact; outside class, the EPV Circle, the Dieter Schwarz Centre, and the Family Business Society map directly onto my goals. What excites me most is HEC's mix of rigour, practice, and community, a place to give as much as I learn.
