With my mother and sister in media and design and my father in supply chain and operations, I was exposed early to both creative and analytical ways of thinking. Witnessing my family pursue entrepreneurship, my mother monetising her design expertise and my father starting his…

own venture in his 50s, sparked my interest in business as a way to transform skills and experience into sustainable value. Motivated by this, I majored in Marketing during my undergraduate studies. Courses such as Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Management, Strategic Brand Management, and International Business strengthened my management foundation while deepening my interest in marketing strategy, and I applied my learning through projects: analysing 100+ consumer surveys with R, SQL, and Tableau on e-commerce's impact on retail, I uncovered 97% adoption, 78% perceived retail relevance, and 61% social-media influence, and translated these into data-driven omnichannel recommendations. Professionally, roles at Company A (a fashion label) and Company B (an experience-design consultancy) sharpened my analytical and project-management abilities. I then joined Company C (a USD 15M FMCG brand) as a marketing executive, managing influencer partnerships, coordinating shoots, and supporting data-driven digital campaigns across five product launches. Currently, as a brand strategy and partnerships executive at Company D (a brand studio), I manage end-to-end client relationships, strengthening my negotiation, strategic-planning, and problem-solving skills. While I could execute campaigns effectively, I noticed that strategic decisions around margins, pricing, and long-term value creation required deeper financial and managerial expertise. Recognising this gap, I sought a programme that integrates my hands-on marketing experience with strategy, finance, and innovation in a global context, making IE's MiM the right fit. Modules such as Technology and Innovation Management will help me link creativity with data, automation, and long-term ROI, while the Finance module directly addresses my gaps in margins, profitability, and strategic decision-making. The Business Impact Lab, with its structured workshops and live projects, excites me for the real business exposure it offers under industry mentors, and IE's Global Immersion Week, with exposure to global markets, cross-cultural teams, and companies like Starbucks, Uber Eats, and BMW, will prepare me for leadership in multinational organisations. I look forward to contributing to campus life. At the Entrepreneurship Club, I'll share practical insights from building and scaling an online thrift store, particularly around customer acquisition and sustainable growth; through the Marketing Mix Club, I'll contribute hands-on experience in content strategy, brand storytelling, and campaign execution. Drawing on my work with my college's TEDx and economics forum, I'll help design data-driven marketing initiatives, build industry partnerships, and support peers in turning creative ideas into measurable engagement. Drawing on my experience with a hunger-relief NGO, I aim to contribute to the Centre of Social Innovation and Sustainability through initiatives like Ground Up Dialogues and the 360° Project, advancing impact-driven entrepreneurship, and IE's Purpose Accelerator resonates with me, as advancing with purpose and creating positive impact align with my long-term motivation to build ethical, responsible businesses. In the long term, I aspire to establish a marketing agency specialising in nutrition, fitness, and health-focused brands that promote ethical, transparent communication and healthier consumer behaviour. My short-term goal is to join the brand-marketing division of a global FMCG company such as Unilever or Nestlé as a marketing executive, operating at scale in categories that directly influence health and lifestyle choices, strengthening the consumer insight, data-driven marketing, and brand storytelling essential for building a credible future agency. For me, IE is more than a degree; it is a launchpad to shape behaviour, build conscious brands, and create lasting impact.
